The Palmetto Skate Club supports aspiring young figure skaters as they pursue their dreams. The members are devoted to the development of amateur, recreational and competitive figure skaters. Being a member of the Palmetto Skate Club allows one to participate in the Ice Skating Institute (ISI) and U.S. Figure Skating (USFS) competitions, test sessions, classes, workshops, ice shows, and exhibitions. The Palmetto Skate Club’s goal is to provide figure skaters with a positive and supportive atmosphere in which to reach their individual skating goals. Being involved with the club helps skaters to build character, self-discipline and social cooperation along with a love and appreciation for the sport of figure skating.
The home rink for our club is Plex Indoor Sports & Ice, located in Irmo, South Carolina.
